Salle de presse - Animaux sauvages – Animali selvaggi visti da Schili
The great interest for nature, ecology, the problems of the environment, the influence received by the frequent trips to Asia and equatorial Africa brought Schilli to build some multi-colored iconographic microcosms. From an horizon built by fantastic idols, primitive totems, tribal masks, influenced by the arts of Congo and Mali, Schili represented with more passion and frequency a world populated by wild animals, partly characterized by a naturalistic look and partly by a symbolic-idealizing look.
